Special birthday surprise for Chris

Here is a birthday song I picked out just for Christopher Kincaid--along with two apologies.

  1. I'm sorry for being almost a week late. Happy birthday on the 11th!
  2. I'm sorry I couldn't find a live recording of this fantastic song that actually sounded decent. I think Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young drank heavily before performing, which caused a bit of temporary tone deafness. (Seriously. Do a You Tube search and you'll see what I mean.) This album version, however, is heavenly.

Happy, happy, happy birthday...and thanks for making Lindy so happy.

And just for fun, here is one of the live recordings, with authentically off-key harmonies. Ouch. Fun to watch Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young in their youthful glory.
