A very, very, very fine house

Yesterday Bob and I visited Andy's new house, and I must say, it is muy impressive.

See, this house was built in the 1890's and it was used as a doctor's office for many years. Apparently patients were seen downstairs, and the family lived upstairs, so guess where the kitchen is? (Not downstairs.)

The address is 920 South Temple, and from the outside it looks like this:

There is a beautiful staircase you see when you walk in the front door. Next to that is a lovely room that could be a dining room, whick looks into an elegant livingroom with a fireplace and a big bay window, which looks out onto South Temple.

The whole house has hardwood floors, transom windows over doors, hardware that looks original, and amazingly cool carvings on the external wood trim. (Jody, I'm sure there is an official name for this stuff; all I know is that it's gorgeous.)

The house is all freshly painted inside, and it's CLEAN. It even has a peach tree in the back yard.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the house is right down the alley from Bobbyanne's house; they practically share a back yard. If Andy wanted to install a zipline, he could get over there for dinner every single night.

Good job, Andy!

Post script: Jody sez they need a goat tower! I'm thinking, house warming gift. What do y'all think?

  1. That house looks so cool! And with it's close proximity to Bobbyanne's they are well on their way to forming an AWESOME family complex! Now if only we could get them to install a goat tower.
