The boys

I've been waiting to catch two or more of the new squirrel babies together for a photo shoot, and this morning I finally did.  They are growing fast, mainly because they spend 50% of every day doing this: 

The other 50% of their time they spend jumping from tree to tree, which is probably why they spend so much time eating.  There is one small problem with them feasting at the squirrel feeder every day, however, and here she is:



This cat spends most of her day on squirrel patrol.  Luckily the squirrel babies are FAST and so far have managed to elude our neighbor cat. 

I haven't put my office back together again quite yet, but I wanted to show you the color of my new walls.  It's sunny today and the color may not show up right--but you can probably get the gist of it:

I think it is a huge improvement over the 20-year-old wallpaper we had in here before.  I'm moving my desk to the corner where the doors used to be, just for a change of pace.  Now, when I sit at my desk, I feel I am one with the backyard flora and fauna.
