Every spring we get a new batch of squirrels,and a couple of days ago, our two newest babies showed up. We can tell they are babies not only because they are small and have skinny tails, but also because they scamper around chasing each other with boundless energy. This year's kids are also fearless--they're absolutely unfazed by humans. This morning one of them let me get up close and personal for a photo session. Look how cute he is!
Also notice the dilapidated squirrel feeder; this is the fourth one we've put up. Bob keeps trying to reattach, fix and reinforce the thing, but the dopey racoons keep tearing it apart.
Today we are going to Chris and Devon's new house for a fourth of July celebration (Happy 234th Birthday, USA!) and tomorrow Logan and Jody arrive! Lucky us!
I hear three different couples are headed up to Seattle on the SAME flight. Crazy eh?
