Running fast, alpine sliding, and prairie dogs

Kayla and Kevin arrived yesterday!  We had a BBQ at David and Laura's and spent some quality time with their dog, Rocky. 

We stopped off at Chris's house to walk Waylon the dog on the way home, and then stopped by to see East High, where High School Musical 1, 2, and 3 were filmed.  Kayla has seen them all.  Many times.

When we got home, Bob and Kevin played pool, and Kayla ran on the treadmill!  Over two miles!  She's got quite a stride.

This morning we had breakfast at the Eating Establishment in Park City, and then we rode the Alpine Slide (fun!) and Kayla and Kevin also rode the Alpine Coaster (which they said was more fun than the slide!).  From the lift on the way up, we saw millions of prairie dogs.  Many of them were basking in the sun ON the Alpine slide, which seemed a bit risky to me.  (We didn't hit or even see any on the way down, so apparently they know to lay low when sliders are on the track.)

News flash!  Tonight we went to Blockbuster and we met an incredible parrot, who was sitting on his owner's shoulder.  She put him on one of the shelves and continued to shop.  His name is Kingston.

And tomorrow, we get to see BABY PENGUINS!
